Quick Sunday Weave
Busy weekend. Had a Friday night gig, early Saturday morning DJ set before a football game, and lazed about all day today. But I did work on some stuff in the home office.
Sampled some stuff for an upcoming Halloween show that I'm DJing. And then finally changed the tape on my old Roland Space Echo. Sounds wonderful.
So I plugged in my bass, looked around me, got the SP out and the trusty Roland System-1, and made a track. It's here.
Actually, I love it. Lots of character in the bass, and then the way the System-1 syncs is just wonderful. Again, between that and the Minitaur, it's just my favorite synth ever.
So ending the week after a not-so-great gig for me on a high note. Which, incidentally, a lot of other people enjoyed the gig, so...
When you're up on stage, you're living in your own world, even though you're seemingly open kimono to it.
